The main lodge has an upstairs lounge with TV. Guests are asked to bring their own decoder and smart card. Each of the cottages has option for a TV too, but you will need to bring your decoder and smart card along.

Power
A 60kva generator has been installed; however due to the fuel shortages we have a strict timetable for the use of it, please bath and cook food within these times, should the power be off.

Generator times:
07h00– 09h00
12h00- 14h00
18h00- 21h00
If the generator is required for more than the times supplied, an extra charge will be incurred for this service on a per hour basis. We suggest you bring extra diesel if you want extra hours. Bring torches and DC lighting if you have! On the back of each chalet are 15amp and 13amp sockets for charging batteries.

Water
All water is from a borehole and can be consumed.

Wood
We have wood and charcoal at the shop here.

Swimming pool
We have a swimming pool, but it is uncovered. Please note that all children must be supervised at all times. The responsibility of children rests solely on the parents of the child and HideAway and its Management will not be held responsible for any injury or death.

Pets
Under NO circumstances may pets or any animals be brought onto the premises at any time.

Security
We do have an electric fence on the perimeter of the camp, and guards. We do however ask our guests to be vigilant and aware at all times. If boats are left in the water please inform management. (You are advised to remove your boat at night) Better safe than sorry! We will try offer our best service to make you secure, however do not accept any responsibility if there is any loss or damage to property. All valuables must be locked in your car or some where safe! We will be installing safes shortly in each room!
